Information for Parents

We are currently conducting multiple research studies in the lab!

CONVERSATIONS ABOUT PEER CONFLICTS

All kids sometimes have conflicts with peers at school. But how do they talk to their moms about these experiences?

We are doing research to learn how moms and kids talk together about conflicts and good times with peers.

We are seeking families to participate in a two-hour session, either at home or the university. Specifically, we’re looking for families with children aged  7 to 18 years to participate with their mom.

If you think you might want to participate, please contact us at:

MINDSET AND MORALITY

We all have positive and negative experiences. But how do moms and teens think about and cope with these types of situations?

We are seeking mothers and their teenagers (between the ages of 12-15 years) to participate in a one-to two-hour session, where they will respond to an electronic survey, either at home or the university.

Each person will receive a movie gift certificate in appreciation for their time.

If you think you might want to participate, please contact:

Thank you very much for your interest. Our research would not be possible without families like yours!
